Deer Lake RCMP have concluded a police operation in the Nicholsville Road area of the town.
Police officers converged on the area earlier this afternoon, but have now cleared the scene and there is no further concern for public safety.

Deer Lake RCMP are asking people to stay away from the Nicholsville Road area at this time due to an ongoing police operation.
Schools in the area are reportedly delaying dismissal as a result.
