There were no injuries following a fire at Kelsey’s Restaurant in St. John’s this morning.
Crews were called in the 10:00 hour after staff noticed sparks coming from an outlet at the restaurant.
Platoon Chief Michael Hall says when firefighters arrived, the kitchen was filled with smoke, and there was fire behind the walls.
The restaurant is expected to be closed for short period of time.
