Drunk drivers kept RNC in St. John’s busy last night after two serious collisions throughout the metro.
The first happened just before midnight when a vehicle went into an embankment on the Team Gushue Highway. The 21-year-old woman wasn’t injured but failed to pass the breathalyzer.
Then an hour later, in Shea Heights, a 67-year-old man slammed through a guardrail on Blackhead Road. He was also found to be drunk behind the wheel.
Both individuals have been released and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
