Borrowing a visual prop from U.S. President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Mark Carney today announced the federal government’s commitment to introduce a middle class tax cut by July 1st.
Speaking to reporters following the first meeting of his new cabinet, Carney reiterated his election promise of cutting taxes for middle income-earners, by signing an “order” to deliver the tax savings of “over $800 of savings for two-income households” by July 1st.
