The Gander International Airport Authority is calling 2024 a year of “measured progress” with more than 115,000 passengers passing through the airport.
While that’s a 6 per cent improvement over the previous year, it’s still significantly below passenger volumes prior to the pandemic.
The numbers were released during the airport authority’s AGM this week.
CEO Reg Wright says small change isn’t glamourous, but it’s what’s needed to build a better, more sustainable airport.
