The RNC’s Recruiting Unit will be in Pasadena next week to generate interest in joining the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
The RNC encourages those interested in a policing career to sign up for a firsthand look at the physical demands of police work through the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE).
The PARE is a challenging fitness test, forming part of the application and screening process for most police agencies.
Residents of western Newfoundland interested in participating in the Pre-PARE session on Tuesday, June 17th, are asked to email rncrecruiting@rnc.gov.nl.ca to reserve a time slot.
The provincial government is offering a $15,000 bursary to each successful RNC recruit, based on a three-year return-to-service agreement.
