A new statue honouring legendary Newfoundland actor Gordon Pinsent will be unveiled in Grand Falls-Windsor today.
Pinsent, who had a career spanning six decades, passed away in 2023 at the age of 92.
The statue will be unveiled at the town hall at 1:30 p.m.
Tourism, culture, arts, and recreation minister Fred Hutton will be on hand for the event.
