The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a vehicle-pedestrian collision in St. John’s yesterday.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Torbay Road and Highland Drive around 7 p.m. after a 45-year-old woman was struck while trying to cross the street.
She was rushed to hospital with injuries but has since been released.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed at the scene.
