Conditions won’t be necessarily ideal today as it pertains to the forest fires burning on the Avalon.
Environment Canada meteorologist Rodney Barney says gusts won’t be as strong as yesterday, however it will be on the breezy side with winds from the southwest gusting up to 50 km/h.
Another issue is the lack of moisture in the air.
He says relative humidity for the eastern portion of the province is relatively low and will stay that way for the next few days. There is a cold front moving in on Friday that will knock the temperatures down and bring some shower activity to the Avalon.
