Lookie-loos caused headaches for emergency crews responding to the fire near Paddy’s Pond yesterday.
The fast-moving fire was of great concern to first responders, not just because of the spread, but because of the attention it was generating from people who just wanted to have a look.
RNC Constable James Cadigan says curiosity seekers caused some headaches for officials yesterday.
“We have had issues with people wanting to come see what’s happening and that has been an impediment for the response.”
