It will be a September like no other for many people in Conception Bay North whose lives have been upended by the wildfire.
The loss of Cabot Academy in Western Bay is particularly devastating to the school community.
Teachers took up the cause, inviting people to help stuff the bus at the parking lot of the NLTA headquarters yesterday with donations.
NLTA President Dale Lambe says his members will do everything they can to help make the transition back to school, but he knows it’s going to be tough on a lot of people.
He says government will first have to come up with a plan, which teachers will then review and provide feedback.
