A popular Labour Day music festival on the southern tip of the Avalon Peninsula is being brought back after being sidelined during the COVID pandemic.
Musician Trevor Halleran says the event will take place August 30th and 31st at the Edge of the Avalon in Trepassey with a host of local and well known provincial talent.
“It’s going to be an awesome, fun-filled weekend for family and friends,” says Halleran. It starts off next Saturday evening “with Trepassey’s own Junior Brazil, Mr. Sean Sullivan and a couple of lads from Fogo Island, The Ramblers. And we’re going to follow that up with Shanneygannock, and an up-and-coming band called Uncle Jack.”
