The town of Gander was featured on last night’s episode of Amazing Race Canada.
Mayor Percy Farwell was among the many people who watched the episode with interest.
He says while he wasn’t allowed to say anything about the show, which filmed in the airport town in May, he was looking forward to seeing how the town shows up on the television screen.
He says as it happens, he knew one of the co-producers of the show who is also the mayor of Miramichi, New Brunswick. “I got a chance to meet up with him for a while,” says Farwell.
