RCMP have arrested a 24-year-old man from Nain in relation to a serious assault against a woman.
The victim suffered what police call a serious, potentially life-altering injury.
Police were called around 1:13 on Sunday morning after an assault at a home on Middlepath Road.
The victim was taken to the Nain Community Clinic for urgent medical treatment.
RCMP located and arrested Devin Dyson, who is also known as Devin Obed, and charged him with aggravated assault and uttering threats.
The investigation continues.
