RCMP say an ongoing investigation is preventing them from providing details at this time on a police operation in Portland Creek on the Northern Peninsula this morning.
Police descended on the community, armed with a search warrant, and with the support of the RCMP’s Emergency Response Team.
The warrant was issued as part of what police call an active investigation, and they say there is no current risk to public safety.
