Harvey’s Oil has purchased North Atlantic’s propane business in eastern and central Newfoundland.
Affected North Atlantic customers will be transitioned over to Harvey’s on November 1st.
No action is required at this time, however those customers will be contacted by both companies in the coming weeks to discuss next steps.
The company says it also plans on hiring North Atlantic’s staff to service customers.
Vice President of Operations with the company, Chris Forward calls it a “natural extension” for the company to offer a propane delivery service noting that they are good at delivering dangerous goods, and that customers trust them to come into their homes.
