Newfoundland and Labrador has a new multi-millionaire.
Michael Brown of Englee was in possession of the winning Lotto 6/49 ticket, which was from the November 5th draw, for over a month before he checked it.
Brown says he had eight or nine tickets to check at the store, and when the winning ticket was scanned even the cashier was in shock.
Now, Brown has received his Classic Jackpot prize of $5-million.
A fisherman by trade, Brown says he plans on helping out his children, buying new fishing gear, and taking some of his friends on a moose hunting trip that they have been dreaming of for years.
