NL Schools says all schools in the metro region will be closed tomorrow.
The decision was made Tuesday evening in advance of Wednesday’s forecast storm.
Meanwhile, the Conseil Scolaire Francophone Provincial has also announced that Ecole Rocher-du-Nord will be closed all day tomorrow as well.
Provincial government offices will be closed tomorrow morning.
Many northeast Avalon businesses and municipalities are also preparing for tomorrow’s storm which is forecast to bring anywhere from 25 to 50 cm of snow to the metro region, blown about by winds out of the north with gusts as high as 80 km/h and up to 100 km/h along the coast.
