It’s all bad enough when a plow pushes another wall of snow at the foot of your driveway, but imagine the dismay of one Barachois Street resident when she discovered a huge pile of ice, scraped from the pavement, and deposited at the foot of her property.
Lorraine told VOCM Open Line she used to work with the city and couldn’t believe what she encountered blocking her driveway.
She described about 8 feet of ice, piled up like ballycaters on the beach.
She says she hired someone to snow blow he driveway out, and was told it wasn’t possible.
She hopes the city will come and clear the ice. The city is aware of the situation.
