Premier Tony Wakeham won’t tip his hand on a possible development in relation to Bay du Nord.
The massive offshore project was put on hold by Equinor while it went back to the drawing board to find a more economically-favourable way forward.
The new government has been in negotiations with Equinor and rumour has it that an announcement could be coming soon.
However, the premier wouldn’t offer any hints when questioned by reporters yesterday.
“I can tell you that our negotiations are going extremely well and stay tuned.”
