Manitoba’s Matt Dunstone is the 2026 Brier champion.
Dunstone defeated Alberta’s Kevin Koe 6-3 in the final Sunday evening at the Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John’s.
The championship game was played in front of a sellout crowd of 6,201 fans.
Curling Canada says total attendance for the week reached 143,100, marking a strong showing for the national men’s curling championship in the province.
Dunstone and his Manitoba rink now move on to represent Canada at the upcoming world men’s curling championship.
