Two men have been arrested and charged following a robbery in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on the weekend.
RCMP were called to a home on Courte Marche Street around 5:40 Saturday morning.
They were told that two men, who were known to the victim, broke into the home and assaulted one of the residents while pointing a firearm and making threats.
The names and descriptions of the suspects were given to police, as well as the type of vehicle they were driving.
Police found the vehicle on Mesher Steet later that evening and arrested 41-year-old Craig Best. Thirty-five-year-old Samuel Craig Blake was arrested at a home on Brett Street a short time later.
An imitation handgun was seized from the suspect vehicle.
Both Best and Blake are facing charges of break and enter, assault with a weapon, robbery, and pointing a firearm. Best is facing an additional charge of uttering threats.
