A 37-year-old man is facing a number of charges following a disturbance in Arnold’s Cove on Thursday.
RCMP were called about a disturbance on Kingwell Crescent shortly after 7:00 Thursday evening.
Police attempted to arrest Joshua Harvey Williams, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, but he refused to cooperate.
He was searched and officers discovered a knife hidden on his person, a violation of his court-ordered release conditions.
Williams is now facing charges of obstruction, failing to comply with a release order and failing to attend court.
He was held in custody to appear in court.
