A landmark business on Kenmount Road is no more.
The former Golden Phoenix restaurant – which operated as a Chinese buffet for years, has been demolished.

The area around the building near the Avalon Mall has been cordoned off, and heavy equipment started taking the structure down this morning.
All that’s left as of early this afternoon was a pile of twisted metal and building materials.
