Golfing legend Tiger Woods, who was eyeing another comeback at The Masters in a couple of weeks, has been charged with DUI in Florida.
His Land Rover clipped a vehicle on a highway on Friday and rolled over on its side. There were no injuries but police have been quoted as saying that Woods showed signs of impairment.
He was taken into custody.
Tiger came back from a similar incident to win The Masters in 2022, but has not played competitively for the past couple of years. This second DUI would appear to render as doubtful another appearance at the granddaddy golf tournament of them all.
