Registration is about to begin for this year’s Becoming an Outdoors Woman spring event.
Registration opens Tuesday for the course, which takes place at Burry Heights on the Salmonier Line from May 29th to the 31st.
Becoming an Outdoors Woman provides hands-on experiences in outdoor skills including firearms and archery, outdoor cooking, fishing basics, chainsaw safety, hiking and backpacking.
Sessions include instruction from volunteers and staff from the Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands.
The $295 registration fee covers all meals, accommodations and course materials.
