Two people were arrested and drugs, cash and other items seized during a traffic stop near Deer Lake last week.
RCMP pulled a car over near Pynn’s Brook on April 1st, and the driver and passenger were arrested after police noticed what appeared to be cocaine inside.
A search of the car led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, pills, a sum of cash and other items.
The driver, a 37-year-old man, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of stolen property.
They were released on conditions to appear in court in August.
