Health Canada is recalling some Bissell brand steam cleaner attachments because of a burn hazard.
The Steam Shot and Omni Reach attachments can detach from the steam cleaners and expel hot water or steam onto the person using the device.
So far, the company has received only one report of such an injury in Canada, but has 205 incidents in the United States and 160 injuries from those incidents.
Health Canada says customers should immediately stop using those products, and contact Bissell to receive new attachments at no charge.
