A man has been charged after a disturbance in the Rabbittown area yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the area of Hoyles Avenue just before 2 p.m. and spotted a man walking down the road who looked a bit suspicious.
Officers discovered that the man had a knife on him. The 24-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
