Firefighters across the province are bidding a final farewell to a brother and tireless advocate today.
Jimmy O’Toole passed away last Saturday at the age of 46.
Diagnosed with cancer in 2018, he became a tireless advocate for the people with whom he served, by fighting to improve protections for firefighters with occupational cancer.
Members of the House of Assembly held a moment of silence yesterday in O’Toole’s memory after tribute was paid to him by Deputy Premier, Barry Petten.
