MusicNL Week kicks off in St. John’s today.
The four-day event is a celebration and showcase of the local music scene.
It all starts with an awards gala at the Convention Centre tonight, where there are 117 nominees up for awards in 36 categories.
There will also be performances at venues across the downtown, as well as workshops and panel discussions today through Sunday.
