The City of Corner Brook has asked the union to resume face-to-face talks as the lockout at the Civic Centre drags into its third week.
The dispute has forced the closure of the facility, a situation partly responsible for the Corner Brook Royals’ decision to pause their Central West Senior Hockey League season.
The city says it looks forward to talks resuming on Monday and hopes that a deal can be forged between it and CUPE Local 4386.
