Independent breweries from every region of the country, including Newfoundland and Labrador, have launched “Glorious and Free” to create a truly Canadian beer.
Breweries will make their own version of Ottawa-based Dominion City’s “Glorious and Free” using 100 per cent Canadian-sourced ingredients.
Josh McJannett, co-founder of Dominion City, says the goal is to harness the power of local beer to build a stronger country.
Port Rexton is the Newfoundland and Labrador partner in the campaign.
“We’re honoured to have the folks from Port Rexton on board,” says McJannett. “A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charitable cause.”
The campaign invites breweries and homebrewers across the country to join in and create a wave of demand for Canadian growers and suppliers.
