The RNC has charged a woman with negligence after a vicious dog attack in Mount Pearl in February.
The RNC were called to assist Mount Pearl animal control after a woman was seriously injured after she was attacked by the animal. Two other people in the home at the time were safely evacuated by police.

Numerous attempts to sedate the animal were made over a period of more than 24 hours, but were unsuccessful.
The RNC Tactics and Rescue Unit and Police Dog Serves were called in to enter the home, and the dog was sedated and humanely euthanized by a vet after written consent was received.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested and charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm and breaches of court orders.
She’s been released to appear in provincial court in June.
