There were no reported injuries following a fire in St. John’s last night.
RNC officers on patrol first noticed the fire and called firefighters to the abandoned home on New Pennywell Road just after 1:00 a.m..

Crews doused the fire, which had destroyed the abandoned home.
The RNC is now investigating the incident, and investigators will be on the scene later this morning.
