Swimmer Gavin Baggs earned the province’s first medal after placing second in the Men’s 400m Freestyle Para competition.
Ken Stroud from B.C. took home the gold.
Baggs has been in four Canada Games to date, but this is his first time earning a spot on the podium.
He calls the moment something that “means the world.”
