A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of what police believe to be cocaine.
RCMP pulled a vehicle over in the Johnny Hill Drive area of Happy Valley-Goose Bay around 12:30 on Thursday morning.
Officers noticed what appeared to be cocaine inside the vehicle and arrested the driver.
RCMP say Scott Morrissey has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, possession of stolen goods and three counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a release order.
Morrissey was held in custody pending a court appearance.
