The driver of a pickup truck has been charged following a collision with a motorcycle in Portugal Cove-St. Philips over the weekend.
Emergency responders were called to the scene on Portugal Cove Road just after 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the motorcycle was sent to the hospital with serious injuries, but has since been released.
The truck said to be involved in the accident was located around 10:00 Sunday morning.
The 67-year-old driver was arrested for failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
He has been released to appear in court at a later date.
