The Tories and the Liberals will release their party platforms later today.
The NDP, the only party to release its platform to date, is projecting a half-billion dollar surplus by the end of their term.
PC Leader Tony Wakeham says he wanted to get the platform out ahead of the leaders’ debate tonight.
He says much of what is in it has already been announced.
“We’re continuing to put out our platform every single day. Every single day that I have stood before the microphones, I have talked about what’s in our platform,” he told reporters.
Liberal Leader John Hogan says their full party platform will also be released today.
Yesterday, voters headed out to the advance polls in their districts. When questioned about asking people to go vote without having a full platform released, Hogan said people have heard much of their plan over the last few weeks and months.
He says people have spoken, and what the Liberals have announced are solutions they want to hear.
