RCMP in Placentia are seeking the public’s help identifying two people following a break-in and theft from a gas station in New Harbour last week.
Police were called out just before 3:00 a.m. last Saturday after a commercial alarm sounded at Pitcher’s gas station
Several drawers of cigarettes were stolen, but the culprits had fled the scene before police arrived.
Video surveillance captured two people arriving in a black Kia car, and smashing the glass in the front door of the business.
Police say the two suspects – believed to be a man and a woman – are seen entering the store, removing the drawers and placing them in the car before leaving the scene.
