A police operation on the Trans-Canada Highway near Crooked Lake Road, just outside Badger, has concluded.
The RCMP say one individual has been taken into custody. An increased police presence may still be visible in the area as officers wrap up their response.
Police initially advised motorists of a significant operation involving the emergency response team, though there was no immediate risk to public safety.

A police operation is currently under way on the Trans-Canada near the town of Badger.
The RCMP say commuters will notice a heavy police presence, including their emergency response team, near Crooked Lake Road.
Police do not believe there is an immediate risk to public safety, but anyone who sees anything suspicious is being asked to call 911.
