It took three times, but a 49-year-old is in custody after giving police the skirt yesterday morning.
Police tried to pull over the vehicle on Higgins Line around 9:30, but the driver refused to stop, cruising at what RNC describe as a low speed.
The man would pull over twice more, only to hit the gas once officers left their car.
He was eventually pulled over a third time and was blocked in by RNC officers.
The man will appear before a judge on charges of fleeing police, and his vehicle has been impounded.
