Metro police stopped a vehicle last night in the area of Rickett’s Road in St. John’s with a motley crew inside.
One of the occupants, a 34-year-old man, had two outstanding warrants for his arrest but when officers searched him, they found ammunition. That has resulted in four charges of breaching a firearms prohibition order, plus the outstanding warrants. He was held for court today.
In addition, the 28-year-old woman who was behind the wheel faces charges of impaired driving caused by drug. She was released but the vehicle was impounded.
