Sport NL is partnering with Recreation NL for a number of initiatives throughout the province over the coming year.
By combining their resources, both entities are hoping to better support athletes, coaches, volunteers and community leaders.
The partnership will include professional development opportunities in Labrador, which Recreation NL executive director Steve Martin says hasn’t been done in a number of years.
That initiative will start with a community engagement visit to Happy Valley-Goose Bay in June.
The two groups are also partnering to deliver SportNL Summit, set to take place this November.
