A property on Mundy Pond Road, which has long been the source of complaints to St. John’s city council, continues to sit, exposed to the elements following extensive damage caused by a fire in early March.
The property in question had been in a state of disrepair for some time, even before the fire, with many area residents opining that it was only a matter of time before something happened.
Now, people are wondering if action will be taken to address what remains of the structure.
The city admits it has received complaints related to the property, and potential action to address them is currently going through the regulatory process.
The city says because it is a legal process, it is unable to provide any further information at this time.
