A woman was injured after she was assaulted by her son at a home in the east end early this morning.
RNC was called about a disturbance around 2:00 a.m.
The woman had suffered injuries to her face.
Her 19-year-old son was taken into custody on a charge of assault.
He spent the night in the lockup.
