The RNC have arrested three teens – one as young as 13 – in connection with a vicious assault that sent a 19-year-old man to hospital with injuries Tuesday evening.
The injured young man managed to get to the McDonald’s on Topsail Road after being beaten by a number of people.
RNC say three people have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident which occurred at a home in Cowan Heights.
Two 17-year-olds have been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, robbery and breaches while the 13-year-old has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and robbery.
The teens were held and appeared in court today.
RNC say further charges are anticipated.
