The Town of St. Bride’s on the southern Avalon is warning residents after a black bear was spotted on the local wharf.
Residents are being asked to use caution, to keep a safe distance from the animal if spotted, and to supervise children and pets closely.
People are also being urged not to feed or approach the animal.
