The city of Mount Pearl and First Light are hosting a National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration today at Centennial Park.
The free community event will celebrate the culture, traditions and contributions of local First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
It will feature performances by Eagle Women, Stan Nochasak, as well as Indigenous singing and drumming.
The event takes place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
