Marine Atlantic is hoping to have the Blue Puttees back up and running on the Gulf ferry service later today after a mechanical problem took it out of commission.
The issue occurred on Sunday evening. Technicians identified the problem and are in the process of making repairs.
Marine Atlantic says it is hopeful that the Blue Puttees will be able to return to service later today.
